ELETRIC PRESS CAUSE MASS HYSTERIA
Electric Press have released the latest single ‘Mass Hysteria’ from their new album ‘Blinded by Ignorance and Somewhat Hysterical’. You can pick up the album from our webstore here – https://bit.ly/ElecPress
Mass Hysteria is a critique of society’s reactions to hysteria being spread via the media. In the current age people believe whatever they see on TV, whether it is true or false, it creates a spiralling cascade of panic that spreads like wild fire. Electric Press utilise crushing fast paced riffs and hectic drum parts to highlight the panic within society, whilst the lyrics are a commentary on how the media creates hysteria as a distraction from what is actually going on in the world. The band brought in their good friend Jake Huxley from the band Going Off to lay down his signature vocals to really enhance the aggression of the track. Mass Hysteria is somewhat of the title track from their upcoming album ‘Blinded By Ignorance And Somewhat Hysterical’ as the themes present in the track re-appear as the album progresses. Blinded By Ignorance And Somewhat Hysterical is available to preorder now, and will be released worldwide on May 17th.
