Paul Hannah is a self taught artist born and bred in Leeds in the North of England. He has always had a love of art, rock music and sport. He loves to paint or draw portraits and have, over the last 10 years or so combined these loves by drawing the rock band members and people he met at gigs.
In 2011 he started to draw some of the people he met at rock gigs. Those early Big ‘Eds were quick and easy drawings that he did as a little fun. As time has gone on, he has improved the quality of the Big ‘Eds and they are now an important part of his work…. They also take a lot longer to do now.
This is a beautiful A5 64 page book containing EVERY Big ’Ed he has created.
That’s 269 people in a 10 year period from 2010 to August 2020, including many from the UK DIY Punk scene.
Contains drawings of personalities from the Rock and Pop world, Dancers, TV Actors and Sporty Types, as well as not-so famous people he has met on his punky travels!
